Michelle Cordeiro : No Bad Foods

Hey folks, welcome to The Thick of It!

Today on the show I am so excited to have my chat with Michelle Cordeiro. Michelle (she/her) is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and Anti-Diet Nutritionist who is passionate about rewriting the script around food and wellness. She works from an anti-diet, Health at Every Size (HAES) and weight-neutral lens.

We chat about all kinds of feelings about food, the differences between disordered eating and eating disorders and of course we discuss intuitive eating, and what that really means. This is the first interview I recorded for this podcast and I can’t imagine a warmer person to interview. Michelle is knowledgable and compassionate in the way she shares her work and own experiences in her body on the show.

If you want to learn more about or work with Michelle, there are a bunch of ways you can connect with her.

Listen to Episode 5 of The Thick Of It right here on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

This week Michelle is launching a 4 session group + individual coaching container, An Anti-Diet New Year. This program will set you up with the tools needed to navigate a season that might bring up old eating patterns, while empowering you into a year of finding your best flow with food. Included are two December and two January group coaching sessions, an exclusive Whatsapp group for real time support and a 1:1 session with Michelle to zero in on what you need. Challenge your inner dialogue, set boundaries with family + friends and practice finding more joy with food.

No Bad Foods Membership: No Bad Foods is a virtual community that meets every week for live group coaching sessions, with a private community page and dashboard full of snackable workshops all about Intuitive Eating, body image and anti-diet nutrition.

Next week, December 8th, will be my last episode before a mini pause in the season! I already have some guests lined up for 2022 and I’m super excited to broaden the ranges of topics. I’m planning to be back January 5th, when the show will switch to a fortnightly release (once every two weeks) to give each episode ( and myself) more breathing room! I’m so touched by the love and feedback I’ve received, and can’t wait to make more episodes!
