Working under an anti-oppressive frame-work, I am working to shift the wellness world, and the thought that your body is always something to be “fixed” instead of something to be celebrated. Through language, modification offerings and thoughtful sequencing my aim is to find a full spectrum of experience in the body. Connection, joy, challenge and release. I teach group and private movement classes, spanning from contemporary Pilates, to dance inspired cardio parties. I am certified in Yoga, Contemporary Mat Pilates and have over 600hrs of diverse training, and thousands of hours of teaching experience. I continue to learn, to evolve, and to gather more tools and inspiration from my peers in the movement world.
I also offer workshops and am continuing to explore how I can use my experience in a bigger body in the fitness industry to help inform, and educate folks on how they can work on freeing themselves from a diet culture mindset and shift into a world of body liberation.
